EGF & FGF: The epidermal grow factor (EGF) and the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) are polypeptides that occur naturally in the skin. They have been shown to transmit molecular signals to stimulate skin rejuvenation and support collagen and elastin. The mask stimulates the formation of the skin’s own epidermal growth factors with biomimetic peptides. They stimulate the skin to undergo a process that increases the density of collagen and elastin fibres. The peptides also inhibit elastin-degrading enzymes.
